RFCLogosmallThe Richmond Way

The Playing Vision

  • To consolidate our position in the National Leagues as quickly as possible, aiming to reach National League 1 and possibly The Championship, after taking stock of the rugby economic climate at that time.
  •  Richmond Football Club (RFC) is ambitious and strives to be the ‘best’ community rugby club in the UK, offering first-class, well-coached and medically well-supervised rugby opportunities for all - both sexes and all ages – five Senior Men’s XVs, one Students/U21 XV, one Colts XV, one Veterans` XV (the ‘Heavies’), three Women’s XVs and Youth and Mini rugby for nearly 600 boys and girls. All this within a friendly environment, offering great networking opportunities, both social and commercial.

The Strategy

  • To attract and retain players of the highest quality from all backgrounds but maintaining, throughout the Club, a traditional rugby club ethos to help achieve our aims and retain the Club’s unique culture.
  • Players who join RFC should not see rugby as their primary source or method of earning an income.
  • It is RFC’s intention to help and support our players by creating:
     1.    A supportive professional infrastructure within which to develop their rugby skills

     2.    Help with finding employment and/or accommodation

     3.    Performance-related incentives and player benefits

     4.    An environment that will encourage long-term membership.

For health and safety reasons dogs are NOT allowed on the ground. With up to 600 mini and youth players the reason is obvious and we would ask that you respect our request.

Dear Richmond Member

Please note, in order to enter the ticket draw for any matches you must be a fully paid up adult/family member of the Club, which means that individual Mini and Junior playing members are unable to apply for Twickenham tickets. If your subs are outstanding, regrettably your applications will be returned.

During October and November, RFC members can apply for the RBS 6 Nations 2012 games, by downloading the forms from this webpage, you do need Adobe Acrobat Reader. Download this by clicking the logo below:

Each match has a deadline for the applications to reach me, these are printed on each form. A ticket draw then takes place about 3-4 weeks before each match. Refunds are issued to unlucky applicants.

Please note that you do not need to send SAE’s anymore with your applications.

To assist in keeping the admin time down, please remember that one cheque should be sent to cover multiple applications. Please don’t send a separate cheque per form. This will also save you on bank charges.

The links for the ticket draw application forms will appear here:

Match 1 – RBS 6 Nations - England v Wales on Saturday 25th February 2012 [CLICK HERE]
Match 2 – RBS 6 Nations - England v Ireland on Saturday 17th March 2012 [CLICK HERE]

For full Terms & Conditions, download the pdf by clicking here
If you have any queries, please use the e-mail link above, or click this link to the FAQ's page. Finally it has to be said that the RFU ticket allocation to the Club is relatively small and hence we always receive far more applications than tickets, so it really is the ‘luck of the draw’.

Good Luck.
