And Gary Street's thoughts on Richmond's Alex Matthews:

'Alex Matthews (pictured) is a bit of a freak for an 18 year old – she has played only around 10 senior games in her career and to go out there and play like she did, taking on the New Zealand pack at times almost by herself, was phenomenal.' he says.

Good Luck Aoife and Nele

Unfortunately two of our players have had operations this week.

Aoife Hogan who usually plays for the Impalas has had an operation on her foot and will likely be out for the rest of the season. Nele Van Horen who was on the verge of playing for the 1st team, has had an operation on her knee, but we hope to see her back in a few months.

Everyone at Richmond wishes you both a speedy recovery and we hope to see you back in the Red, Gold and Black soon.
