Looking out of the window at the winter wonderland that is still Richmond, it is hard to believe that any game anywhere will be played this Saturday. However as the weather is set to get milder and pitches are being cleared manually by many clubs, we are thinking positively about the coming weekends fixtures and based on that premise I provide below the usual details of  the games scheduled. Keep an eye on the website and in close contact with your coach/manager for up to date information about your fixture.

On Saturday (16th January) the FIRST XV are away to Rosslyn Park KO 2pm. We know they are clearing their pitch manually as we speak so hopefully this game will go ahead and if you can get down there to support the team I know that would be much appreciated.

Directions to the club can be found here

The VIKINGS are at home to Rosslyn Park II KO 12pm, the SAXONS play Esher Academy away KO 2pm and the BARBARIANS entertain Barnes III at home KO 2pm. The HEAVIES are not happy bunnies in the cold so are still resting in the warmth of their homes or more likely the local pub.

On Sunday the WOMEN 1st XV are supposed to be away to Darlington where a pitch inspection will be made Friday morning. The WOMEN 2nd XV are scheduled to play Cheltenham also away but they have had another dump of very heavy snow and a decision will be made today about this game. The WOMEN 3rd XV are at home to London Welsh KO 2pm.

The Colts postponed National Plate Competition game against Westcombe Park will hopefully finally be played here on Sunday KO 2pm
YOUTH games – U15A v Cobham away, U14A v London Irish at home KO 12pm, U14B v London Irish away
MINIS are all training at home usual time 9.30am to 11.30am

RESCHEDULED GAMES
Following cancellations due to the weather the FIRST XV home game against Canterbury will take place on February 6th KO at the earlier time of 2pm to accommodate the England v Wales International down the road at 5pm, and the FIRST XV home game against Bridgwater & Albion will take place March 20th KO 3pm.

WORTHING LUNCH
On 30th January the FIRST XV are away to Worthing who advise that they are planning to have a pre-match lunch at 12.15pm and would be delighted to entertain any supporters for a small charge of £20.00 per person (including programme & gate entry). Please let me know if you wish to book a place.

6 NATIONS LUNCHES
With the 6 Nations nearly upon us we would like to invite you all to come and enjoy some pre match hospitality here at the club.
For all games played at Twickenham, 6th (Eng v Wales) and 27th  (Eng v Ireland) February, we will be serving first class hospitality at affordable rates. Guests will enjoy a three course lunch, half a bottle of wine per person and a glass of Port or Brandy at private tables for 8/12 people although tables can of course be adapted for smaller groups.
Our package is priced at a modest £35 per person
Not only will there be a rugby club atmosphere to prepare you for the game we also offer complimentary parking for those who dine with us. Twickenham is but a short walk from the club or alternatively the free match day buses stop just outside the ground and go directly to the Stadium.
Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
