Not that I expect it will be warm enough to paddle but the FIRST XV travel to the seaside this Saturday 30th January to play old rivals Worthing KO 2pm. The coach will leave the ground at 10.30am and if you wish to book a place for a small donation to funds then please let me know by return.

The VIKINGS, BARBARIANS and HEAVIES are all at home to Blackheath II, Warlingham A2 and Weybridge Vandals Vets respectively all KO 2pm. The SAXONS are away to Westcombe Park KO 2.15pm.

On Sunday there are no WOMENS games due to England and regional training.

The COLTS defeated Winchester by 4 points last Sunday in a truly heart stopping game and travel to Sidcup this Sunday for the next round of the National Colts Plate Competition KO 1.30pm. Good luck to all concerned

YOUTH games – U15B v Old Ruts at home KO 12pm, U14A v Saracens at home KO 12pm, U13A v Blackheath away, U13C v Sutton & Epsom away
MINIS are training at home normal time 9.30am to 11am

Next Saturday 6th February the FIRST XV play the postponed game against Canterbury at home KO at the earlier time of 2pm to accommodate the England v Wales International down the road which KO at the later time of 5pm. There will be the usual pre match carvery at £20/head (does not include match entrance or programme) sitting down at 12:30pm and if you wish to book a place please advise me asap.

The RAA is also holding a lunch that day for those going to Twickenham but at the later time of 2pm and at £35/head includes half a bottle of wine and a glass of port or brandy. The BRANCH OFFICE will also be open on Saturday 6th February in the Cardinal Vaughan Car Park from about 2pm to offer comfort and succour to all Richmond Members going to the International for a donation to the cause. Head for the Richmond flag both before and after the game and you can be sure of a warm welcome whatever the weather. It will also be open for the England v Ireland game on 27th February

It will be a very lively evening if the last contest is anything to go by so make a note in your diary to stay after the Southend game, enjoy the show and perhaps have a romantic Valentine smooch at the DISCO which will follow afterwards.
