This Saturday 6th March the FIRST XV are away to old rivals Barnes KO 3pm and looking to avenge the defeat suffered earlier in the season. So it should be a cracking contest and if you can get down to Barn Elms to support I know it would be very much appreciated by the lads. There is no team bus given the close proximity of the ground and directions can be found  here.

Barnes are offering lunch before the game at £20/head for a 3 course meal plus match entrance/programme and if you wish to book a place then email Martin Conway at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

TONIGHT Thursday 4th March  - listen to BBC Radio London's Scrum programme for an exclusive insight into this Saturday's game versus Barnes 94.9 FM at 9.00pm

Next Saturday March 13th there is no First XV game as it is a free weekend. They are back in action the following Saturday March 20th when they play the rescheduled home fixture against Bridgwater & Albion KO 3pm. There will be the usual pre match carvery and as numbers are already substantial early booking is recommended.

This Saturday the only Richmond team at home is the HEAVIES who take on Ealing Evergreens KO 2.30pm. All the other senior men’s teams are away; the VIKINGS to Southend KO 2pm, the SAXONS to Shelford II KO 2.30pm and the BARBARIANS to Old Reigatians KO 2pm.

Sunday is a very busy day at the club as it seems every team from Minis through Youth and Colts to Women play catch up after the recent bad weather. Not to mention all the Scots games so parking will therefore be at a premium and we would ask that all members show consideration and tolerance and ensure that when parking they do not block in other cars.
The WOMEN 1st XV play Lichfield, the WOMEN 2nd XV play Hove and the WOMEN 3rd XV play Old Redcliffians all KO at the later time of 3pm.
YOUTH games; U18 v Esher at home KO 2pm,U16 v Guildford away, U14A v Haslemere at home KO 12pm, U14B v Mitcham at home KO 12pm, U13A v Wimbledon at home KO 12pm, U13B v Sutton & Epsom at home KO 12pm
The MINIS are training at home normal time 9.30am to 11.30am

RFU GRAND DRAW RAFFLE
The deadline for entries has been extended by the RFU to next Monday March 8th in order to raise as much money as possible so if you have not yet returned your raffle tickets then there is still time and we would encourage you to do so as you never know you could win the First Prize of £10.000 cash – someone has to!

EASTER MINI CAMP
We are intending to hold a camp for the Under 6s to Under 12s in the Easter holidays on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 13th/15th April and in order that we can assess the viability I should be very grateful if you would let me know asap whether you wish to book a place.
The camp is open to all boys and girls, not just Richmond members and the cost is £30 per child per day although if you attend all 3 days there is a discount price of £82.50. You can book any day and pay on the day at Registration which is at 9.30am. A packed lunch is needed plus plenty of drinks and clothing suitable to the weather as well as boots, trainers and mouth guard if appropriate. Collection is at 3.30pm.

TESCO VOUCHERS
The Tesco promotion for sports equipment for schools and clubs has started and runs until Sunday 9th May. So if all you Tesco shoppers would collect the vouchers and drop them into the collection point in the shop that would be much appreciated. It has been a very successful campaign in previous years and we have been able to make a substantial donation to our junior equipment requirements.
