Firstly may I wish you a very Happy New Year from all of us here at Richmond and thank you for your continued support of this great club of ours.

This Saturday 7th January the FIRST XV start the second half of the season away to Hertford KO 3pm. I am afraid there will be no room on the coach as the SAXONS are also travelling to play Hertford II KO 2.30pm.
Lunch is available to travelling supporters at £20/head – click here for further information and directions to the ground can be found here

The VIKINGS, BARBARIANS and HEAVIES are still recovering from Christmas and the NORMANS are on the Fixture Exchange.

On Sunday the WOMEN also have an extra day off.
YOUTH games: U15 v Chinnor at home KO 12pm, U13B v Battersea at home KO 12pm
MINIS – odds entertain London Irish at home, evens are away at London Irish, so if in doubt as to where you should be please contact your age group manager or check the website

Richmond v Taunton
The FIRST XV play their first home game of the new year next Saturday 14th January against Taunton KO 3pm. The usual 3 course pre match lunch is available at £22/head (does not include match entrance) and if you wish to book a place then please let me know as soon as possible.

2012 Dates for the Diary
Forum Meeting Monday 30th January 2012 – this is open to all club members but we do please need to know the names of attendees and any items for the agenda by Friday 27th January.
AGM Date – this is shown in the Fixture book as 5th June but I would advise you that due to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations it has now been moved to Tuesday 19th June 7pm in the Members Bar

Many thanks to those that have made the additional 150th donation and please do keep these contributions coming in as they are an important part of the 150th legacy which is helping to secure the future of the club

Results from last weekend
Last Monday 2nd January I am delighted to report that the 10th New Year game between Richmond and London Scottish U21s was won for the 7th time by Richmond (10 – 19) so bragging rights are secure for another year! Congratulations to all our lads as well as to Yash and Ronnie, coaches to the stars, and Mike Anderson, manager extraordinaire.
