Richmond v Blaydon 15th September KO 2.30pm
This coming Saturday the FIRST XV play new visitors from Tyneside, Blaydon RFC at the earlier KO time of 2.30pm. This is the first time we have met since March 2001 when they defeated us in the Semi Final of the Intermediate Cup at their ground – so some honour to be restored and a good reason to come down and support our lads. Please make that extra effort as it does make a huge difference to them to hear the Richmond supporters in full voice

As you will know from my email earlier this week, numbers for the pre match lunch are on the small side and although they have picked up we can certainly fit in a few more if you would like to book asap. Cost is £25/head for a 3 course meal plus coffee and mints and includes a programme but not match entrance.

Other Saturday games
The VIKINGS are away to Blackheath (playing at Well Hall) KO 1.30pm, the SAXONS are away to London Scottish III KO 1pm and the NORMANS are at home to Hampstead II KO 2pm

Sunday 16th September
On Sunday the women are back in action with the WOMEN FIRST XV and the WOMEN 2nd XV both at home to Wasps KO at 2.45pm and 2.30pm respectively. The WOMEN 3rd XV’s game against Wimbledon has been cancelled.
MINIS and YOUTH are both training at home except for the U15Bs who are playing Harrow at home KO 12pm and the U16s who are playing London Scottish away KO 12pm

Sedgley Park v Richmond Saturday 22nd September
Next Saturday 22nd September the FIRST XV make their first train journey of the season to play Sedgley Park in Manchester KO 2.30pm.
The team are travelling from Euston at 9.40am returning 18.55pm from Manchester Piccadilly and all supporters would of course be most welcome.
Virgin trains are the carrier and if you book on line through easyfunding (click here) then you earn 1% of your fare for the club – so please do make a note for future reference.

Richmond v Ealing Saturday 29th September
On the last Saturday of the month the FIRST XV once again meet old rivals Ealing KO 3pm and the pre match lunch promises to be a busy one, particularly as it is becoming something of a pink event as I am told the women’s section and the men’s WAGS intend to be out in force. I do hope that the women in the lives of the other sections of the club will consider getting together and coming along for a fun filled afternoon as well.
Book early to avoid disappointment!

Club Forum meeting Monday 24th September 7pm
The first Club Forum meeting of the new season will take place in the Members Bar on Monday 24th September at 7pm and is open to all RFC Members. However I do please need to know attendees and any items for the agenda by Friday 21st September.
