It's getting warmer and The Masters is on. Time to join in for The 2013 RFC Golf Day. This will be something special. British Rugby and Sporting Legends, will be in the field, demonstrating their golfing prowess, and then staying on for the lunch and a Q&A session afterwards. Timings for the day are as follows:
- 07.30 onwards: coffee and bacon roll on arrival - Buy your Mulligan Balloons
- 08.45 shotgun start
- 13.15 onwards: pre lunch drinks in the Clubhouse
- 14.15 onwards: three course lunch (including coffee), Q&A, auction and prize giving - The SRB Trophy plus!
The cost is £95 per player - or £70 for members of The Richmond Club. The price covers the coffee/bacon roll on arrival, lunch, green fees, prize contribution and a small contribution to the Club.
Should you just wish to just join for lunch; the cost will be £35 per person.
The lunch venue can accommodate 150 people, and as the number of players is limited to 72, why not make the event a company and friends day out to celebrate our first season in National 1. Please be sure to book early.
The competition will be over 18 holes of Four Ball Better Ball Stableford i.e. teams of two, with a maximum handicap allowance of 28 for men or 36 for Ladies.
You can either make up your own four ball or, if entering as pairs or singletons, you will be matched with others entering on the same basis.
Also, we would be pleased to hear from anyone who is able to help with sponsorship of the day in some form – we would be grateful for all the support you can give. We are looking for sponsors for one or more Golf Holes (£250 per hole), Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive and, generally, for assistance with the prizes, either in cash or kind.
