We're delighted to confirm Richmond Rugby has been awarded a contract from Achieving for Children on behalf of Richmond Borough Council to run a FREE Christmas holiday camp from Monday 19th-Thursday 22nd December.
The camp is FREE and open to children and young people who are eligible for free school meals. This opportunity is provided as part of the government’s expanded Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme being delivered across Kingston and Richmond. Across the two boroughs, the programme has been named FUEL.
The scheme provides enjoyable activities and nutritious meals for primary and secondary school aged children who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals (pupil premium students). Children will be able to access a variety of fun outdoor and indoor activities, including multi-sport games (football, cricket, rounders, tag rugby etc), as well as a free cooked lunch. At no cost to parents.
