Richmond Rugby’s senior women’s section will head to Allianz Twickenham on Sunday 24th May for Finals Day, with both the 1st Team and Valkyries set to compete on one of rugby’s biggest stages.

The 1st Team earned their place in the Championship Final after securing the Championship South 1 title lasting most of the season unbeaten and will face old rivals Old Albanians in a highly anticipated rematch of last season’s decider. After Old Albanians narrowly claimed the overall Championship title last year, Richmond will be aiming to go one step further this time around.

The Richmond Valkyries have also enjoyed a remarkable season, reaching the final of the Junior Cup in only their second season since being re-formed. Their success highlights the continued growth of the women’s game at Richmond Rugby, supported by a flourishing girls section and strong player development pathway across the club.

The Valkyries kick off at 11am, with the 1st Team final following at 3pm. Entry is free for supporters, with Richmond hoping for a strong crowd at Allianz Twickenham to support both sides on a landmark day for the club.
