Richmond Rugby can confirm our Round 3 Greene King IPA Championship fixture against Jersey Reds on 20th March will now be played at the Richmond Athletic Ground.

The fixture, originally scheduled to take place in Jersey, has been moved following proactive discussions between the two clubs. The venue change will allow Jersey to play their opening five matches of the 2020/21 season in the UK, ensuring their league participation as they continue to work with local government to agree travel arrangements for visiting clubs.

Richmond Chairman John Heaton, said: “We are delighted to be supporting Jersey in this way and welcoming them back to the Athletic Ground for what should be a very entertaining and competitive fixture. As part of the agreement, Richmond will support Jersey with some of their associated travel and match-day costs.”
