Colin joined Richmond from Harlequins in the early 1980s and was part of the club's Middlesex Sevens-winning side. Affectionately known as "Lambo", both as a nod to his surname and perhaps the famous sports car, Colin was renowned for his pace and was always a threat with ball in hand.
