Join Richmond’s Volunteer’s programme – Richmond 165

Josh Carpenter

Richmond Rugby is delighted to launch a volunteer’s programme created in recognition of our club’s 165-year history.

Volunteers have always been at the heart of Richmond. Their time and energy support our teams, improve matchdays and events, and help keep the Richmond Athletic Ground running.

By becoming part of Richmond 165, you can provide hugely appreciated support to the club in a way that suits your interests, experience and availability.

How can I help the Club?
Whether you would prefer to support your child’s team, help on matchdays and at events, assist with merchandise or lend a hand with practical projects around the ground, there are plenty of ways to get involved – with benefits for volunteers too.

You do not need to choose a particular role straight away. We can have a conversation about your interests, experience and the different ways in which you could help.

Get Involved

Whether you would like to help the Club regularly, or only occasionally. Simply tell us what interests you, what skills you can offer and when you may be available. We can then discuss suitable opportunities with you, and you can choose when and how you would like to support us.

You do not need to play or coach rugby. There are plenty of ways to make a difference.
If you would like to learn more about how you could help the club, please don’t hesitate to contact Phil White on 020 8332 7112.

To register interest, follow the link below and tell us which areas you are interested in.

Recognising our volunteers
Club 165 is about more than filling roles. We want to build a strong volunteer community and ensure that everyone who gives their time feels properly valued. Members of Richmond 165 will receive a range benefits dependant on the roles and frequency of volunteering, including access to Richmond first XV home matches, Richmond 165 merchandise and an invitation to a post-match volunteer thank you event at the end of the season.
