Minis festival - Autumn Sunday 2nd October
We are delighted to be able to host our annual Autumn Minis Festival once again and welcome you all to Richmond Athletic Ground for what I’m sure will be another fun and busy morning of Minis rugby. As always, our festival will be run in the spirit of Kids First Rugby values:
TREDS – Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship
We aim to ensure all clubs, players, coaches, volunteers and spectators experience a memorable day
enjoying this wonderful game and everything it gives us.
When the rugby finishes, we look forward to seeing hundreds of mini rugby players running around with a medal around their neck, munching on a delicious burger lovingly cooked by our generous parent volunteers whilst their coaches and parents enjoy a well-earned beer at the bar!
With a decent weather forecast, everyone is most welcome to stick around and enjoy more rugby as it never stops here! After the U7s and U8s have vacated their pitches, our Colts (U17/U18), many of whom have been with us since Minis, take to the field to warm up for their two Cup matches which will kick off at 12.30pm. After that, our fantastic Women’s Team take on Hove Women in a league match on the main pitch at 2.30pm.
Thank you for supporting Richmond Rugby and we very much look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!
Regards,
Neil Darke
Minis Chairman, Richmond Rugby

Guided Walk Old Deer Park
Next month Richmond Rugby and the Community Department will be supporting The Richmond Society with their guided walk in Old Deer Park.
It will take place on Thursday 27 October where they will gather at the Little Green opposite Richmond Theatre for a 10:30 am start with Paul Velluet who will lead the walk around the Park before finishing up at the Athletic Ground at 11:30 am.
Refreshments will be provided and the Club’s Head of Community, Edward Roberts, will give a short presentation about the Club's history, its place in the local community and the importance of physical activity and what the Club offers.
Those wishing to attend the presentation only at 11:30 am, with refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits), are welcome to do so. The bar will be open and “cashless” only. Places are limited so sign up on Eventbrite here.
As with all our walks, proceeds go to our Landscaping Fund.
