Next Saturday, rugby returns to the Richmond Athletic Ground as Richmond kick off the second half of the season on home soil. Following a two-week break, the squad will be keen to re-establish momentum and get back into Champ action in front of the RAG faithful.
Round 13 delivered a season record crowd as Richmond faced London Scottish, with supporters packed tightly around the pitch in a fixture that continues to grow as one of the league’s most compelling rivalries. Landlord versus tenants once again produced a charged atmosphere and underlined the strength of rugby at the RAG.
This weekend’s opponents, Caldy, were last faced at the very start of the campaign at Paton Field. On that occasion, Richmond came away with a narrow 27–21 defeat but secured a valuable losing bonus point in a tightly contested early encounter.
Caldy now sit 8th in the table and enter the second half of the season in confident form, having recorded back-to-back victories against Doncaster and Ampthill. They arrive in southwest London with momentum and belief, presenting a stern test as the league begins to take shape.
Kick off is at 3pm. Secure your tickets now!
