As you will already be aware the Women’s first team beat Cheltenham in the semi final of the Championship which means that they have progressed to the final at Twickenham at 5 pm on Sunday 18th May.

It has been a great pleasure watching the team this season from the first game away at Battersea Ironsides on a municipal park in South London through playing Bath away on the Rec in front of a massive crowd with fire works going off as the team ran out onto the pitch to the last game of the season where we clinched a draw against Old Albanians in the last seconds of the game. Fittingly it is Old Albanians, historically our biggest rivals, who will be our opponents in the final and it should be a fantastic game of rugby. It would be great to get out as many supporters of Richmond at Twickenham (entry is free) to support Ross, Becci and the team in what should be an epic final.
