A fantastic rugby weekend ahead at the RAG for the Richmond Double Header and ‘Family Day’. The Saxons kick-off the action at 2pm against Ampthill 1881 XV as they look to get back to winning ways before the Richmond Men’s 1st XV play top-of-the-table Plymouth Albion in Round 10 of National League 1 at 3pm. Take a couple of minutes to replenish your drinks and swiftly return to the Grandstand, as immediately following that, the Richmond Women 1st XV will take on local rivals London Irish Ladies on Pitch 1 kicking off at 5:15pm. Match tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
Rob Powell has made 4 changes to his match-day squad from last weekend’s game against Blackheath. Ted Landray comes into the starting XV after putting in a strong performance after a late call-up to the bench last weekend. Jimmy Litchfield returns to the side covering prop, Matt Marsh acts as a scrum-half replacement and Henry Cheeseman is fully fit this week after sustaining a small injury in the warm-up last weekend as he covers the midfield.
