A brilliant rugby weekend is ahead as two Richmond sides travel to Chinnor. The day starts with the Saxons playing Chinnor II Falcons kicking off at 2pm looking to make a statement before the Richmond Men’s 1st XV play Chinnor in Round 11 of National 1 kicking off at 3pm.

Head Coach Rob Powell has stuck to his guns, involving the same 20 players that featured in last weekend’s major win over Plymouth Albion, with only two rotations, one taking place in the pack and the other in the centres. The young powerhouse Lucas Schmid starts this week at blindside flanker with Henry Wills dropping to the bench and big ball carrier Henry Cheeseman starts at outside centre pushing Sean Kerr to the bench.

Rob Powell had this to add “We know we have to replicate last Saturday, now we play our next 4 games against teams in the top 6, so we have to perform that well every week to give ourselves a chance.”
