This Saturday, the Richmond Men’s 1st XV make the long trip up North to DMP in Round 18 of National 1 kicking off at 3pm.
For those unable to make the game, coverage will be provided on X (formerly known as Twitter) at RichmondFC1861
Head Coach, Rob Powell, has made four changes from his side that had a huge victory over Bishop’s Stortford in Richmond’s last outing winning 38-14, scoring six tries in the process.
Richmond’s top try scorer and Captain Alex Post comes back into the starting lineup at hooker. The second change in the first XV is Chidera Obonna on the right wing, his attacking prowess and energy will look to cause many problems to the DMP defence. Obonna is familiar with DMP as he played for the opposition back in 2021 and will look to get the victory over his old side.
Rhett Butler earns his place on the bench as the scrum-half replacement, looking to make an immediate impact off the bench. To complete the match-day squad, Alex Burrage returns covering fly-half looking to make a difference with his kicking game.
