1. CAREER SUPPORT PROGRAMME


Richmond Rugby aims to support players that either have aspirations to be full-time/professional rugby players as well as those who want to balance a love of playing rugby with building careers in business.

The landscape and future of rugby union in England is uncertain. The roadmap for players below the Premiership is increasingly unclear and it is becoming more important for clubs to support their players in order to realise their potential, both on the field and in their professional career.

In support of our players and their careers, we are looking for Richmond supporters and members who are...

  • willing to be a point of contact in their industry and able to have initial conversations with prospective and current players
  • able to share contacts with their network
  • prepared to offer mentoring

Our core objective

To attract quality rugby players to Richmond who share the club’s values which will help our club continue its development and enable us to compete effectively at all levels.
