About the team

Try Minis Rugby at the internationally renowned Richmond Rugby Club!

  • Fun and inclusive rugby sessions every Sunday morning, September to May
  • Safe and friendly environment, delivered by DBS cleared, qualified coaches
  • Open to all shapes, sizes and genders. Reception to Year 6.
  • First class facilities – 7 full sized pitches plus an Astro – located 5 minutes from Richmond station, just off the A316
  • Thriving Minis section with more than 200 kids every week
  • Kids have fun, exercise, make friends, learn new skills and enjoy their rugby

Sunday Training Times (Subject to change):

9:30am-11am:

  • Under 5 to Under 11 (plus a separate mixed-age Minis Girls section)

Coaches: Our coaches and staff are fully DBS checked and attend regular RFU coaching and training sessions including safeguarding.

Medical Facilities: We have onsite medical facilities, with trained first aiders and club physios in attendance each Sunday.

Playing Kit: To begin with, in the younger age groups, in early Autumn no special kit is needed, but as Autumn turns to winter, boots with studs, gloves, hats, base layer tops and bottoms, help the kids to stay warm and, above all, enjoy their rugby.

Parking: Is free and available at the venue on Sunday mornings right next to the pitches.

Festivals: We host two festivals each year, one in the autumn and one in the spring. We welcome teams from across the South East to enjoy a morning of fun and enjoyable rugby, meeting old friends and making new ones. Click here to find out more.
